A professional hobbyist as a musician, photographer, video creator, craftsman, disc golfer, gardener, and coach based in Austin, TX, Barrett has nearly two decades playing and working at a high level in these fields. His passions continue to propel him to working within these different mediums.
Who am I?
I’m Barrett. I grew up bopping around the southeastern U.S. with my family. I first started taking photos with the 35mm Fujifilm camera my parents gave me for Christmas in 1997. After graduating high school I started playing music. I picked up the bass guitar when I was 18, although I had started writing poems and songs about a decade before. Being involved with photography, video, and music has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. I also love to garden, play disc golf, travel, and enjoy the company of good people.
